I was in the area visiting & decided to try the place for lunch. So glad I did! The arepas & plantains were amazing. The bread pudding was some of the best I’ve had. It’s the cutest little spot too. I will def the back!
La Cocinita is incredible. Legitimate Honduran food. Start with the Baleadas; the Baleada con toda is only 5 and comes with just as much food as a chain burrito store, if not more; it also tastes better! Also, great Horchata; sometimes we will stop in and just get a horchata to-go. The "large" horchata is enormous, like a big gulp. Beyond these staples, the beef is incredibly good here, so I would recommend anything on the menu with beef.
La Cocinita is been my favorite place for years, I always go to eat pollo Con tajadas,and the fajita plate. The portions are really good!!! The flavor super good. Now the I’m married, I bring my hubby and he’s hook lol.
